How does Open Farm Dog Supplement Hip & Joint Chews work?
Vitamin C serves a role as a co-factor in collagen synthesis, the main protein in joint tissue and bone. This vitamin also plays a role in fighting infection and may work to control inflammation linked to infection. Turmeric contains curcumin which is a powerful antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. Green lipped mussel is high in Omega-3 fatty acids and other novel nutrients which may help to reduce inflammation levels for better mobility. The herb ParActin is known to improve skeletal muscle strength, healthy inflammatory response, and antioxidant activity. Kelp is high in antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and itching. MSM is a potent anti-inflammatory, and includes antioxidant effects.

May be GI Irritant. Do not use in pets receiving blood thinners (anticoagulants) or other drugs, unless directed by a veterinarian. Do not use in immature, pregnant, or lactating pets. Not for long term use, unless directed by veterinarian. Do not exceed recommended dose, unless directed by veterinarian. Do not use in pets with gastrointestinal ulceration, thyroid, liver, or lung disease. Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. If your pet’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Safe use in pregnant pets or pets intended for breeding has not been proven. An examination from veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product.
Storage:

- Review the feeding guideline to find the appropriate feeding amount based on your dog’s weight and activity level. Always ensure fresh water is available. Administer during or after your pet has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
- Begin with half of the recommended amount for the first week, then increase
to the recommended daily amount. Daily intake can be split between morning and evening.
