What is DOUXO Chlorhexidine Micro-emulsion Spray?
DOUXO Chlorhexidine Spray is an antiseptic spray used to manage skin infections that are responsive to chlorhexidine. The no-rinse formulation contains antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory agents as well as moisturizers to help restore and manage healthy skin. The Micro-emulsion Spray is perfect for use between baths.

How does DOUXO Chlorhexidine Micro-emulsion Spray work?
DOUXO Chlorhexidine Spray has Micro-emulsion technology, which helps the formulation travel over the surface of the skin. The active ingredients remain intact within each droplet of the formulation until it penetrates the skin, where it slowly diffuses to help heal the skin barrier. The Spray also contains gentle cleansing agents and moisturizers as well as phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide that helps rebuild natural ceramides (lipid molecule) in the skin to help keep it healthy.
Cautions:
For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian.
DOUXO Chlorhexidine Micro-emulsion Spray Directions:
- Brush the hair coat against the natural fur line.
- Make sure to hold the bottle approximately 12 inches away from your pet's body.
- Spray the product over the targeted area.
- The product will disperse naturally
- Do not over-apply.
Dosage may be doubled for long-haired breeds.
