What is Keratolux Shampoo?
Keratolux Shampoo is a soothing, yet deep cleansing shampoo for dogs, cats and horses that helps keep the coat clean and shiny longer. This unique, tar-free formula contains Spherulites® Microcapsules, with an anti-adhesive glycotechnology that is both anti-irritant and limits the bonding of microorganisms to the surface of the skin. It also contains Salicylic Acid, Zinc Gluconate, and Pyroxidine HCl to help remove scales, crusts and excessive oil associated with keratoseborrheic disorders such as oleosa and sicca. The Spherulites® Microcapsules provide a slow release of ingredients long after application, to help keep your pet cleaner, longer. Keratolux Shampoo also contains Chitosanide, a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair coat.

How does Keratolux Shampoo work?
Keratolux Shampoo has anti-adhesive glycotechnology, which utilizes a unique combination of monosaccharides and an alkylpolyglucoside that reduces bacterial and yeast adhesion to the stratum corneum (outermost layer of the skin). The action physically disrupts microorganism colonization of the skin surface and may delay onset of irritation due to topical bacteria or yeast. The Spherulites® Microcapsules is an exclusive encapsulation system that provides a slow release of ingredients long after application.
Cautions:
Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after using. For animal use only. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Not for otic use. If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
Keratolux Shampoo Directions:
- Shake well before use.
- Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather.
- Massage shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely.
- Rinse and repeat.
- Allow shampoo to remain on hair coat for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Make sure to keep the shampoo out of the eyes and ears.
